This course meets the following State Career & Technical Standards:  Resources, Interpersonal Skills, Information, Systems, Technology and Careers.
State approved by the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association (WLRA).  State certificate and optional paid internships are available. 

  • To introduce students to restaurant and hospitality concepts, customer relations, and menu planning
  • To learn kitchen safety, equipment, preparation terms and proper storage of foods
  • To explore and prepare a variety of food labs with an emphasis on technique, service, art, nutrition and wellness
  • State WLRA sponsored contest in March
