Career Planning

Learn about your career options. The earlier you start thinking about what you'd enjoy, the better off you will be.

Career Voyages exists to help you find out which occupations are in-demand. This web site also gives those high demand occupations which do not require years and years of school. In fact, there are lots of alternatives to a 4-year degree, including, apprenticeships, vocational certificates, and 2-year degrees.

Start exploring career options by using the Career Cluster Guides sponsored by Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. Career clusters identify pathways from secondary school to two- and four-year colleges, graduate school, and the workplace.

High school programs of study can be organized around career clusters to prepare students to meet the demands of post secondary education and the expectations of employers.
