Winner will be drawn from eligible applications on file May 30th and the award will be available on Sept. 30th.

Money may be used for expenses to attend any class beyond high school, expenses related to educational conferences for credit, or to pay back student loans.

Applicant must not have received a four year college degree & must have 2 contacts with their EOC Coordinator if selected for the scholarhip/stipend.

Montana State University-Bozeman

Fall 2008 Freshman Scholarship program for Non-Resident Freshmen

Scholarships range from 1,000 - $15,000 per year and are renewable

In order to qualify for their non-resident scholarships, students need only to apply for admission and have their ACT and/or SAT scores sent to them directly from the testing company ASAP.

Carpenter/Construction Apprenticeship & Training

4 year appreticeship during which time the apprentice will attend classes for related training with classroom and shop projects to provide theory and hands on training.  In addition, the apprentice will have on the job training with skilled journeymen carpenters and earn a livable wage with benefits.  The apprentice is paid an increasingly progressive wage for the on the job training and may work for a number of contractors during their apprenticeship.

Army ROTC

Scholarships are normally for 4 years and cover 100% tuition, $1200 for books plus a monthly stipend ranging from $300 - $500/month.  You choose your major.

Also available are room & board scholarships for all students enrolled in Army ROTC that utilize UW housing  $500 -$2,995 per semester
